Historic Hollywood Cemetery is extremely pleased to have original log books dating back  to 1895.  We are happy to assist with genealogical research as long as it does not interfere with services being performed at that time.

Additionally, the LDS Church has scanned all of the burial records for HISTORIC HOLLYWOOD CEMETERY. There is no index, but you can browse the images. Geneaology requests can take 2-4 weeks to process depending on the amount of information provided. The more information you can give us, the faster we can process the request. If you want information and prefer to speak to someone , call the cemetery at 713-227-5109 and provide the following:

• Name of the deceased.

• Date of death or Date of Interment (burial)

• Burial site information if available.

By providing this information ahead of time, it will allow the staff time to research the information and an appointment can be made to review the findings..
